METRAG - "Choreography by Taavon Gamble accentuates the Huntington Theatre musical's few actual "dance numbers" (like in the aforementioned "Welcome to the Fun Home" and later in the fun, upbeat song, "Raincoat of Love") and also complimented the rest of the show's staging by Logan Ellis"
STAGEANDCINEMA - "Small Alison plays with her brothers as they race around the funeral home, climb in and out of caskets, and dream up the hilarious jingle for the family business, “Come to the Fun Home.” Taavon Gamble’s movement direction gives these scenes the uninhibited physicality of kids at a dance party."

CABARETSCENES - "..the three of them raised the roof with “Come to the Fun Home,” a mock commercial they were filming for their dad’s funeral home, which they’ve nicknamed Fun Home. Choreographer Taavon Gamble worked magic with them; he had them popping up out of coffins, break dancing, and table leaping through five minutes of unbridled childhood charm."
ONBOSTONSTAGES - "But it is also a place where the imagination of the Bechdel children – eight-year-old Small Alison (Lyla Randall), and brothers Christian Bechdel (Odin Vega) and John Bechdel (Caleb Levin) – can run wild, cavorting in caskets, or imagining a commercial for the funeral home in “Welcome to the Fun Home,” with some fine choreography by Taavon Gamble."
